Beautiful vintage Italian hand-painted pedestal compote in the Capodimonte style , featuring a richly detailed scene of two cherubs (putti) surrounded by a colorful landscape. The openwork (reticulated) rim is accented with raised floral details and finished with 22K gold trim, while the pedestal base features molded decorative figures. The pedestal base is embellished with molded decorative figures resembling stylized dolphins or fish and is hand-painted to complement the central artwork.
