Hardware: The ornate stamped metal corner brackets, slat guards, and structural rivets are intact, bright, and visually striking. Structure: Exceptionally solid and sturdy. Key Features & Design Elements Iconic Humpback/Camelback Top: The prominently curved dome lid—originally designed to prevent baggage handlers from stacking other luggage on top during steamship or train travel. Heavy-Duty Hardware: Features a massive decorative central iron lock assembly flanked by two matching heavy-duty outer flip-down latches (drawbolts).
