Crafted from premium fine bone china at the historic Grafton Works in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, this mid-century set features the highly sought-after and discontinued "Bramble" pattern (Official Factory Pattern Number 8049). The design features a beautifully detailed, naturalistic illustration of wild trailing blackberries, green vines, and soft pink blossoms over a crisp white base. Each piece is delicately finished with an elegant, scalloped rim highlighted in a matching pastel pink trim. The underside of the teacup features the hand-painted pattern number "8049" alongside a small green factory inspector's tally mark, certifying its hand-finished artistry. Included in this 3-Piece Trio set: 1 Footed Teacup: Elegant fluted shape with a classic loop handle.1 Matching Saucer: Perfectly recessed center with a scalloped edge.1 Matching Side/Dessert Plate: Completes the traditional English trio configuration. This set is in gorgeous vintage condition! There are no chips, cracks or structural repairs. The clear glaze remains very bright with no heavy crazing.  The printed blackgerry graphics are sharp and vibrant, and the delicate pink scalloped borders show very minimal to no shelf wear. There is one gray mark on the side of the teacup which does not appear to be a scratch or scuff as it is smooth. There is a very tiny dot on the scallop of the teacup. I have not attempted to remove it. (Please study the many photos carefully as they form part of the cosmetic description.) This is a very beautiful set in excellent condition. Every piece in this Royal Grafton trio will be individually wrapped in heavy-duty bubble wrap and cushioned inside a thick cardboard shipping box to ensure it arrives exactly as pictured.
