Vintage Pink White Overlay Art Glass Vase Cut Oval Windows Ruffled Rim 5.5". The vase is about 5½ inches tall . It has a translucent pink/rose glass body encased or overlaid with opaque white glass , a six-lobed ruffled rim, molded vertical ribs, and a particularly interesting series of oval/circular cut-out windows around the lower portion. Those windows expose the darker rose glass underneath. The construction strongly resembles Bohemian/Czech overlay glass , although the simpler design and lack of floral enameling make the exact origin harder to establish. The polished-looking windows and contrasting layers are consistent with the cut-overlay tradition. I'd provisionally date it mid-20th century, approximately 1950s–1970s . Condition: Used.
