Exceptional highly collectible antique German Jugendstil/Art Nouveau jewely casket manufactured by the renowned firm of Erhard & Sohne (Schwabish Ghund, Germany). This piece dates back to 1900. The relief its swirling Art Nouveau floral vines, blooming buds and classic scrollwork resting on four integral bracket feet. Exceptional highly collectible antique German Jugendstil/Art Nouveau jewely casket manufactured by the renowned firm of Erhard & Sohne (Schwabish Ghund, Germany).  This piece dates back to 1900.  This exquisite small treasure chest showcases the intricate high-relief cast metalwork that defined the peak of the European Art Nouveau decorative arts movement.  The exterior of the box features a beautifully domed lid, ornamental top carrying handle and detailed repousse/embossed patterns.  The relief  its swirling Art Nouveau floral vines, blooming buds and classic scrollwork resting on four integral bracket feet.  The interior is the ORIGINAL fuchsia/rose red silk velvet lining which remains intact given the age.  Highly desireable this piece comes COMPLETE with its original antique barrel key which features the authentic stamped impression of the Erhand & Sohne historical lion symbol.  The internal and front latch/ring pull are present and complete. The brass underside features a hand engraved ownership mark reading "Hempel" which adds a layer of unique personal history. Excellent Antique condition.  Rich uncleaned golden patina with minor surface scratches and faint verigris along the interior rim validating its genuine age and authenticity.  No major dents or structural breaks.  This piece is very rare due to its authenticity and completeness with the original key and being in the original condition.
