Acrylic paints are most commonly used and available at most retail or craft stores. They are easy to use and easy to clean up. All my pieces have been fired and do not need to be fired in a kiln again they are ready to paint. If you have access to a kiln my ceramic bisque has been fired to a cone 04 (low fire) and can be fired with ceramic glazes (cone 06 / 05).
