I am offering for sale this Antique Vintage Sargent & Company, USA 1/2" Bead Molding Plane Inv#EB115 This is a Sargent & Company, USA 1/2" Bead Woodworking Molding Plane. It is stamped Sargent & Company, USA with owner name and #623 on toe. On heel there is nothing visible. The cutter is frozen, pitted and rusted and would need to be sharpened to bring it back to optimal use. I have not tried to remove it. The wedge is original but split & cracked.(see close up). The wedge measures approx., 7" x 1/2 ". This plane has nicks/chips to bead, stains & scars but it is still in good usable condition . It has a great feel and patina.(see photos). This is a really nice user plane to add to your collection or workshop. This was plucked out of a carpenters workshop this week along with many other great woodworking tools that I am still listing.
