It is napped and very closely sheared converted to so called: Melton. Because of its dense, quasi-felted texture it frays minimally or not at all. Also back of cloth you wouldn't be able to see weave either. Finish: Magnificent Ultra soft and Lustrous & Silky Cashmere Teasle Raised/Melton finish, also unrivalled comfort, makes a joy to wear.
