I am offering for sale this Fine 19th Century Antique European Style 1" Round Moulding Plane Inv#EL56 This 1" European Style round plane is unmarked . The plane measures approximately: 10" L x 1-1/4" W. It is made from a very heavy dense wood, it weighs 1lb 2oz. The wedge is the typical shape for a European Dutch style plane (see last photo) it is original. The cast steel cutter measures 7-3/8" x 1"W. it is rusted and pitted and would need to be sharpened. The plane has some minor wear & scars but in overall very good user condition. It has a great feel and patina. A fine round plane that still has lots of life left!! This was plucked out of a master carpenters workshop this week along with many other great woodworking tools that I am listing now. FOLLOW ME!!!
