Description
View W. H. Grindley Flow Blue 17" Platter, "Argyle" Pattern with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Manufactured between 1891-1914. Exceptionally few utensil marks (actually, I can't see any but I don't want to be absolute about anything). The only flaw I can find is a very small flea bite on the edge, (I need to feel to find it). W. H. Grindley Flow Blue 17" Platter, "Argyle" Pattern. Manufactured between 1891-1914. Very good condition, gold ornamentation is still there (see photos), but difficult to photograph. This piece was loved during it's life time, and probably spent most of it's life on a beautiful display shelf. Exceptionally few utensil marks (actually, I can't see any but I don't want to be absolute about anything). The only flaw I can find is a very small flea bite on the edge, (I need to feel to find it). See photos, I was able to photograph the flea bite on a close zoom-in. There are no other cracks or chips. My appologies that shipping is so high. Besides UPS rate increases the last couple of years, there are surcharges add to the costs due to fuel costs. Ebay also takes commission out of the shipping costs (I'm not pleased with this practice). If you're near Tucson, AZ, you're welcome to pick up locally (or I could meet you if it's mutually convenient). I ship insured, and I know how to pack delicate items for survival! Condition: Used.
