The dress is made out of a jet black velvet. The bust of the dress has a sheer floral lace insert, and there are lace and sequin appliques along the edge of the insert. There is a large lace insert on the back of the dress as well. Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 DESCRIPTION This is a sexy vintage cocktail dress from the 1980s.  The dress is made out of a jet black velvet.  The bust of the dress has a sheer floral lace insert, and there are lace and sequin appliques along the edge of the insert.  There is a large lace insert on the back of the dress as well.  The dress has a fitted waist with a peplum accent around the hips.  The skirt of the dress is fitted, and it has a short walking slit in the back.  The dress has long sleeves with padded shoulders.  The dress closes with a row of buttons down the back where the lace is, and there is a zipper below that.    SIZING The tag has been removed from the dress, but I believe it would best fit a size XS. The actual measurements are as follows:   Bust: 17" across, underarm to underarm (34" around) Shoulders: 14.5" across, seam to seam Sleeves: 23.5" from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve Waist: 13" across (26" around) Hips: 18" across (36" around, measured 8 inches down from the waist seam) Length: 39.5" down the center of the back   Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat.
