Up for auction / sale VINTAGE 1970’S SOUTHWESTERN NATIVE AMERICAN POTTERY -BOWL SIGNED NME Measures 5” tall by 7 1/8” diameter.   Unidentified artist hallmark NME  Creamy white, black, tan and terra-cotta  Six beautiful animals parade around the bowl with two flowering cactus. Stylized mountain range circles the rim.  Native American handmade, hand painted creamy white, black, tan and terra-cotta in the Anasazi style. It is initialed NME on the bottom of the bowl.  Purchased at Packards on the Plaza in Santa Fe NM. A beautiful reproduction in excellent vintage condition, no breaks, cracks, crazing or surface scratches.  Packards on the Plaza was a fabulous store selling one-of-a-kind Navajo blankets, katsinas and pieces from pueblos throughout New Mexico and Mexico. They closed their doors in 2013. This bowl was only used for display in a cabinet and has been in storage for many years.
