The buckle can be used with a 1-1/2"-wide belt. NAVAJO SILVER BELT BUCKLE w/ TURQUOISE & CORAL STONES SIGNED "S.R. CHEE" - WEIGHS 92.2 grams R. Chee, a Navajo silversmith. The artist's logo is marked on the back. Some of this artist's pieces are marked "sterling," however this one is not. We believe it is sterling, but it has not been tested. The age is also unknown, although it has nice patina. The buckle measures about 3-1/2" x 2-1/2" and weighs 92.2 grams, more than most similar belt buckles. The buckle can be used with a 1-1/2"-wide belt. It is in good condition, with scratches on the back consistent with use.
