The mug is a gloss white inside and out but has a beautiful stipple glaze pattern around the top rim and the top part of the handle. See my photos for clarity. If you are a collector or just like beautifully made steins, this one is super nice. It is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or damage of any kind. It looks as though it were never used.
