Creepy eyed (blue) Victorian couple in a tintype studio portrait. This tintype has scratches and a small dent in bottom right corner. Are they married? Siblings? Mother /son??  Whatever they are, they both look grim. There are lots of clues as to the age of this early photo! My best estimate is mid to late 1890s, based on her giant puffed sleeves and ornate, flat boater hat. He's wearing a brooch that may be a mushroom or a bird. The background is painted and the lighting creates weird shadows, especially around their heads and left of the man. Her legs and feet aren't visible l, due to her gown. This tintype has scratches and a small dent in bottom right corner. Paper frame is in rough shape, and is included in the purchase.
