Army Air Force On intrusion mission over enemy airdrome   Date of Printing: 1943   Printing Technique: lithography   Artist: William John Heaslip (1898-1970), Canadian born artist known for his aeronautical paintings.   Heaslip also served as a pilot in the Royal Flying Corps (British Army) in WWI.   After WWI Heaslip studied art in New York.   Details: ORIGINAL Coca Cola advertising store sign with original hanging string at top; gloss printed paper layer on cardboard base.     The Coca Cola bottle and logo are in the lower left corner of the sign.   The title is printed in the bottom border below the image.   Heaslip’s printed signature is in the lower right corner of the image.   “COPYRIGHT 1943, THE COCA-COLA COMPANY, LITHO IN U. S. A.” is printed in the right corner of the bottom border below the image.     Colors are strong and bright.   We have framed the sign in a 1 ¼” wide wood frame with dark walnut veneer (real wood veneer).   The sign is backed in cotton rag matboard (naturally acid-free).   Size: with frame the piece measures 18” wide by 16” high, visible portion measures 15 ½” wide by 13 ½” high, the actual sign measures 15” wide by 13” high   Condition: Condition is EXCELLENT, slight 1/16” long indentation in the lower right corner border (see photos of frame corner and artist’s signature) – you really have to look for it to find it.   Piece displays beautifully.        Shipping: U.S. Postal Ground Advantage, U.S. Postal Priority Mail, FedEx Ground Home Delivery.   INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN ALL SHIPPING PRICES .   This is an OLD and ORIGINAL print - we sell NO reproductions!
