Each opal is secure in a bezel-setting. The opals have some crazing and the lower opal has an interior crackle line. The pendant comes with a dedicated sterling chain that matches the design of the pendant and fastens with a spring ring clasp. The silver has a darkened patina that comes with age, but the buyer can remove it and return it a gleaming silver color if desired. The pendant itself is very flattering and attractive to wear.
