View 1930’s WWII Era Dehner Riding Boots Capt D.W. Traub US Army Officer Named with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Estate find. The soles and stitching are intact. Interior retains the Dehner’s Omaha maker’s stamp. Likely dating to the early 1930s, when Traub held the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army. A unique piece of interwar / WWII-era U.S. officer gear with direct provenance. Estate find. These belonged to Capt. David W. Traub, whose name is stamped inside along with “12496.” Traub was a U.S. Army officer who later rose to Lieutenant General and served as a pivotal logistics officer for D-Day in WWII. They show expected wear from age and use, with creasing, scuffs, and patina throughout, but remain structurally solid. The soles and stitching are intact.
