I found this at an estate sale and it was just too interesting to pass up. There is no marking on the bottom so I am unsure of the manufacturer. The detail on this piece is excellent including the texture and the colors. Offered for sale is a cool ceramic Art Pottery TURTLE that is 9.5 inches long.  I found this at an estate sale and it was just too interesting to pass up.  There is no marking on the bottom so I am unsure of the manufacturer.  The colors remind me of the Bennington / Rockingham Pottery colors, although this is not as old as that pottery.  The detail on this piece is excellent including the texture and the colors.  It is much better in person but I hope that you can see the details in the photos provided.  This turtle is about 3 3/4 inches tall.  Condition:  there are a few tiny flakes of missing glaze around the top of the planter but there are no chips, no cracks, and no discoloration.  This is a fascinating piece and I do not see another like it on eBay.  Please see all of the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  You will be quite happy with this TURTLE!!   Condition: Used.
