This group features 2 cup & saucer sets in their Empress Dresden Flowers pattern. Research shows that Empress Dresden Flowers was made from 1945 until the early 1980’s. The pattern features a rich floral tableau of various floral motifs, with rims, handles and edges accented in gold. I am selling a gorgeous Schumann Bavaria group! This group features 2 cup & saucer sets in their Empress Dresden Flowers pattern. While on holiday a while back, my husband and I found this Empress Dresden Flowers set. We are selling the items either singly or in small groups, all in separate listings to allow you to purchase exactly what you want. Research shows that Empress Dresden Flowers was made from 1945 until the early 1980’s. The pattern features a rich floral tableau of various floral motifs, with rims, handles and edges accented in gold. The rims of unpierced pieces feature embossed cartouches which are accented in gold and have floral decoration. The cups are accented on the lower area with small flowers, while the saucers feature intersecting garlands. One garland shows rose swags, the other features gold leaves.  The cups are marked: BAVARIA SCHUMANN ARZBERG GERMANY EMPRESS Dresden Flowers". The cups are marked: “Schumann Bavaria Germany US Zone”. Condition is good, gently used condition! There may be a wee bit of gold wear, a common occurrence with items edged in gold, and a utensil scuff or two.
