The intricate design and craftsmanship make it a special addition to any holiday decor collection. estate collection - amazing old blown glass unsilvered ornament with metal kugel style cap - my understanding is that kugels were made with thin glass starting in 1918 - the cap is held on the top with a piece of wire that is wrapped around a wooden stick on the inside - very unique - probably German  - some signs of deterioration on metal cap - glass in excellent condition.  2.5 in diameter - definetly hand blown as not a perfectly round ball.
