This is a genuine Royal Dux Bohemia porcelain figurine known among collectors as the "Dancing Pair" or "Courting Couple," manufactured in Czechoslovakia by the Royal Dux porcelain works, one of Bohemia's most established porcelain houses. The piece depicts an 18th-century courtly couple captured mid-dance in Rococo revival style: the gentleman in a rich magenta coat, the lady in a soft blue and lavender floral gown, both finished with delicate gold gilt trim, standing together on an ornate scalloped porcelain base. The figurine stands approximately 9" tall.
