This beautiful rustic yarn is probably not next-to-skin soft for most people. This is not as prickly as most mohair on the market. I have three available and they match. The yarn has been carefully protected in a plastic bag and then inside a large zipped up Baggu luggage. Lot of THREE skeins of natural mohair/lambswool yarn from a small farm in Georgia. I made an incredible sweater from it and the farmer must have been generous about yardage (or the designer was not correct in her estimation for yardage) because I have extra skeins left. I want someone else to enjoy this incredible yarn rather than hoarding it in my stash. Each skein is +/- 200 yards (the farmer has labeled it this way as there can be slight variations in yardage in non-commercial yarn). I have severe allergies and asthma so I am careful about what my yarn gets exposed to. I do not own animals, I do not smoke (nor does anyone in my household) and I do not use fragrance chemicals such as scented cleaners, plugins, or wax melts. I so use an essential oil diffuser sometimes but it fades very quickly and did not fall on the yarn itself. I have three available and they match. This particular yarn is no longer available from the farm because the farmer only grows a certain amount of fiber each year and it depends on her particular flock at the time. The yarn has been carefully protected in a plastic bag and then inside a large zipped up Baggu luggage. The yarn is labeled black, but it's not. It's brown but also a touch gray in some light. I unfortunately cannot do returns for color or texture. My shop is just too small to absorb return costs like giant corporations can. There are 3 matching skeins available. The listing is for ONE skein. I am happy to combine shipping. This beautiful rustic yarn is probably not next-to-skin soft for most people. However, the farmer raises the goats and sheep herself and her attention to fiber quality is incredible. This is not as prickly as most mohair on the market. It softens a bit and develops an incredible texture the first time it is hand washed and blocked. Do not wash finished items from this yarn in a washing machine.
