They are typically made of blown glass with a crackled interior. The iridescent finish adds a luminous quality, making them popular for holiday decorations, whether it be Christmas or Easter.  Crackle glass, also known as ice glass, is created by heating glass and then rapidly cooling it in water, causing it to fracture. A secondary heating process seals these cracks, and a metallic salt solution is applied to create the iridescent, shimmering effect. This technique was popularized in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, particularly for decorative items like vases and ornaments. CONDITION: Pre-owned. All ornaments are in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. The original box is in pretty good shape too.
