View Georgian portrait of a Lady circa 1770 18th Century with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Original Georgian portrait of a Lady circa 1770. Woman is clothed in a royal blue silk gown with round cuffs and is cut away as a Polonnaise. Her high headdress with sausage curls is surmounted with a sheer handkerchief held with a blue and pink ribbon. Painted on paper. The frame is wood and gesso and gilt. Frame is slightly warped and shows less than perfect condition as seen in the photos. 6 1/8" tall by 5 1/8 wide with a loop ring on the back for hanging.
