This sparkling, custom-designed, woman’s ring , about size 8/8½ , is from the 1960s and features a six-ray, Linde Star (Lindy Star) Sapphire, the synthetic gemstone manufactured by Linde Air Productions, Union Carbide, 1947-1974. The Linde was the first commercially successful, synthetic star sapphire. In this vintage ring, the Linde Star rests in a gold-plated setting and is surrounded by three small gemstones: a diamond, an emerald, and an aquamarine. Very good condition with one small nick and area of discoloration on interior. A special piece of vintage, mid-century jewelry! Smoke free household.
