Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Mexican folk art stoneware coffee mug, handcrafted in the historic pottery hub of Tonalá, Jalisco, Mexico. This unique mug features a smooth cream/off-white glaze base decorated with traditional, intricately hand-painted motifs showcasing delicate blue flowers, multi-toned leaves, and fluttering yellow butterflies, bordered by thick dark navy/black bands. The underside of the mug is hand-signed in underglaze slip by the artisan workshop, prominently marked with the distinctive signature "CAT" alongside the design style number "369". The mug is in good structural vintage condition with a secure, stout handle. Please note that there is a visible surface hairline crack/craze line running down the upper interior/exterior rim (as shown in the close-up photo).
