Beautiful antique Noritake hand-painted porcelain bonbon bowl or nut dish featuring a three-footed form with rounded ball feet. The bowl has an elegant cream/white porcelain body with a richly decorated interior border in cobalt blue, brown, ivory, and gold. Beautiful antique Noritake hand-painted porcelain bonbon bowl or nut dish featuring a three-footed form with rounded ball feet. The bowl has an elegant cream/white porcelain body with a richly decorated interior border in cobalt blue, brown, ivory, and gold. The design includes stylized floral medallions, scrolling vines, brown leaf motifs, gilt linework, and a wide gilt rim with an intricate lattice/star border. The underside bears the green Noritake wreath mark with “M” for Morimura, “Hand Painted,” and “Made in Japan.” This mark is consistent with early 20th-century Noritake export porcelain, commonly dated to the 1920s–1930s era. This smaller footed bowl would have been used as a bonbon dish, nut bowl, candy dish, dresser bowl, trinket dish, or decorative porcelain accent. Measurements: Height: 2” Diameter: 4.5” Footed base: three rounded ball feet Pre-owned antique/vintage condition. No chips or cracks observed.
