This finely cast small gilt bronze statue of Jambhala is embellished with an ornate conch mandorla and intricate floral and jewel motifs, imparting a shimmering elegance that embodies the spiritual potency of Kubera, the God of Wealth. The deity has a meticulously crafted facial features, his hair gathered in a chignon and adorned with a prominent crown. Seated in a posture of royal ease (lalitasana) upon a pedestal featuring 17 shankha (conch shells) on lotus petals, Jambhala gracefully holds a sacred conch in his right hand and a jewel-spitting Nakula mongoose in his left. His right foot is positioned upon a conch shell resting atop a small lotus, while a stack of sweets is presented by his left foot. This statue of Kubera is distinguished by its intricate detailing and exceptional craftsmanship. It emanates a sense of strength and vigor, complemented by a serene and dignified expression. The statue is cast in a single piece, and the darkened surface presumably results from incense smoke.
