This beautiful vintage Chinese cloisonné bowl features an elegant, intricately detailed floral motif depicting multi-colored plum blossoms in vibrant shades of blue, red, pink, and white against a striking black background with gold-tone wirework. The interior and underside of the base are finished in a brilliant turquoise-blue enamel, completing a timeless Asian decorative piece that is perfect as a small catchall, display bowl, or addition to a vintage brass and enamel collection, measuring approximately 4.25" wide by 2.25" tall as pictured. Size approximations: 4 1/4 inches diameter x 2 1/4 inches tall. Please also see photos for size (note any coin, ruler and/ or pop can used to illustrate size are not included in the sale). Weight approximation: 6 ounces. Condition: it is unmarked. The bowl is in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age, including faint surface scratches to the enamel, light oxidation on the exposed brass rims and unpolished base ring, and minor inherent pitting or firing imperfections from the manufacturing process as pictured. The bright turquoise enamel interior remains glossy and intact; please note that any linear marks visible on the inside are strictly a reflection of light and do not indicate cracks or structural damage.
