Here is a gorgeous, antique, oval porcelain platter made in Japan around the last quarter of the 19th century. It features a handsome scalloped rim, hand-painted Imari designs including a double gourd vase, and Kirin beast, as well as other classic Japanese motifs in red, green and blue. It measures a whopping 16 inches long, by 12 inches wide, and is 2- 1/4 inches high. This platter is in excellent, used antique, condition with no chips, cracks, or other damage, or repairs. It is clean and bright with minimal wear! (See photos).
