She has always been kept in a glassed-in display cabinet. Antique/Vintage Volkstedt Dresden Lace Porcelain Ballerina Figurine This sweet ballerina has been in our family for many years and I’m hoping to find another family that will enjoy adding her to their own collection.  She has always been kept in a glassed-in display cabinet.  She measures approximately 7.25” tall and is in good condition for her age.  Please enlarge each picture for the best description.  There are several chipped pieces of lace as you can see.  She is missing the little finger from her left hand. (shown in pictures).  The incised mold is hard for me to verify but I’ve shown pictures for you.  I believe that it is V13588 or V13589.  If any of you could help me with my description, or any information I’ve added to my listing, I'd appreciate it very much.  I’m not an expert on the collection, but can remember sitting with my mother in her display room, lights aglow, while enjoying looking at her beautiful things many, many years ago.  She enjoyed collecting them so much and those special times with her will always be in my heart.  If you need any other pictures, just send me a message.  I’m not sure, but I think it is possible that Anton Muller was the artist who made this figurine.
