OVERVIEW: Here’s a stunning c1920s German 800+ silver pendant. The setting is silver with traces of a gilt finish. It has its original bail. It’s beautiful and well made. OVERVIEW:  Here’s a stunning c1920s German 800+ silver pendant.  It features a scarab which I believe is carved from “Swiss lapis”, or dyed jasper, very popular on German jewelry of the day.  The beetle is surrounded by a scalloped, matte enamel border in light blue, dark blue, and white.  The setting is silver with traces of a gilt finish.  It has its original bail. It’s beautiful and well made.   MARKS:  possible trace of a mail on the bail, but unsure—tested & guaranteed at least 800 silver (construction, design, and materials all indicate German origin) DIMENSIONS: including bail 1 3/4” x 1 3/16”  WEIGHT:   10.9g CONDITION:  shows light vintage wear, a couple of minor flakes in the enamel (see photo--a couple of other corners have very shallow surface flakes that are too small for me to photograph); as noted the original gold wash is a bit light now *                    *                    * RETURNS:   All sales final unless an item has significant flaws not disclosed in the listing (description and photos).  All items are preowned and may show acceptable signs of age and use, including light tarnish, minor surface wear, etc.  Please review the entire listing before purchase and feel welcome to request more info/photos.
