The wood moves through shades of chocolate brown, amber and golden brown with dark irregular striations. Its dense weight, coloring and grain most closely resemble milo wood, also known as Pacific rosewood, although the bowl is unmarked and the exact wood species cannot be confirmed. The bowl has a rounded profile, rolled rim and raised circular foot. Its smaller size makes it ideal as a decorative accent bowl, fruit bowl, entryway catchall or coffee-table centerpiece. Measures approximately 9 inches wide and 3.75 inches high. Weighs 1 pound 2 ounces. Condition is good.
