Vintage Zuni Native American artisan crafted inlay earrings, featuring various types of turquoise, lapis lazuli, and coral or spiny oyster shell (not sure which), in an intricate geometric design, separated by thin ribbons of silver, in a decorative bezel setting. Updated modern ear wires in a gunmetal gray color. I purchased these on a trip to the southwest, about 35 years ago. They have not been worn very much. With the updated ear wires, they are about 4” long, which makes a real statement of style and modernity. These have not been polished, because people have different preferences regarding patina. One ear wire looks slightly bent but it could be straightened- it poses no issue and is not noticeable. These are substantial, and very well crafted, and will last for many years.
