Because full-sized rocking chairs took up valuable floor space, authorized dealers and traveling salesmen used these highly detailed, exact-scale miniatures to showcase craftsmanship, wood quality, and finish options to buyers. While it does not carry a factory stamp or engraving—a common trait for showroom samples, prototypes, and dealer-specific display artifacts—its direct association with the shop's S.
