Vintage Cole Haan Women's Fisherman Sandal - Size 7M.   So, here's the story.  My daughter has had these for years and loved them as a teenager.  Recently, she tried to wear them (she's now 31) and found that the elastic that connects the buckle had lost it's uumph.  As a surprise for her, I took them to my cobbler and had them lovingly restored.  Elastic that holds the buckles replaced, heels replaced, leather layer added to sole.  And of course, a good shine.  Needless to say - not cheap.  I gave them back to her - she was thrilled.  She wore them to the office and with great sadness, updated me that between 16 and 31, her feet had grown and they were no longer a fit.   You can't get these any more - these are the real Cole Haan deal from back when they were all made in Italy (now, only 10% of Cole Haan shoes are made in Italy and it's pretty much only their top lines.)  Cole Haan sold to Nike in 1988 and it's been downhill ever since.  These are pre-Nike and the quality of the leather and craftsmanship is evident given that these are around 40 years old and they look this good.
