View Vintage Blenko #647 by Joel Myers 17” Tall Bottle Vase in Tangerine Rare with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. The bright orange and yellow colors fade nicely in this Tangerine (amberina) piece. It has two slight concave indents on opposite sides as part of the design. It has looked great on my shelf for years and the imperfections are only visible if you look closely.   Being offered today is this rare and hard to find vintage Mid Century vase / bottle designed in 1964 by Joel Myers for Blenko. The bright orange and yellow colors fade nicely in this Tangerine (amberina) piece. It measures 17" tall and 12" wide. It has two slight concave indents on opposite sides as part of the design. The complexity of making something in this shape and size may be why it was only made in 1964 and 1965. This piece is in good condition with no cracks or repairs, but does have wear from normal use over the last 60 years including several light scratches (some a couple inches long), light water spots and many imperfections from the manufacturing process including a 3" long air bubble in the neck, a couple air bubbles around 1/4" and lots of little bumps on the inside. There is what looks like some dirt and an inch long think hair towards the bottom that I believe is in the glass. There is also dust inside and on the bottom and some light water spots. There are some tiny specs of white paint on the outside too, I have not tried to clean this. Look at the photo's carefully to help you decide if you would like to purchase this item.
