View Vintage MCM 50s Atomic Sputnik Knobby Glass Ceiling Lamp Light Shade 15" with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. While the glass shade itself is quite nice, I can't say so much about the fixture. The socket parts seem fine. You can see all of that in the pics. When mounted, I think this will show well. Collectibles aren't like electronics and the like - there isn't a large built-in profit. Offered for auction is a nice mid-century glass ceiling saucer shade.  The shade is 15" in diameter and has little knobby dots on the outside surface of the shade.   While the glass shade itself is quite nice, I can't say so much about the fixture.  I am including it as it could be used and shows you what was original, but if it were me, I'd replace that part.  The original finial is plastic and could be touched up to reuse as there are some scratches.  The metal part that goes against the ceiling has some surface rust inside.  The socket parts seem fine.  You can see all of that in the pics.   When mounted, I think this will show well.   PLEASE READ and message any questions: MAILING OPTIONS:  ground advantage SHIPPING FEES:  Because of the nature of the items I sell, I can't usually provide   Collectibles aren't like electronics and the like - there isn't a large built-in profit.
