View Vintage Sterling Silver Turquoise Bolo Tie Huge Cabochon Signed J 60g with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. The turquoise is truly the centerpiece of this bolo, filling nearly the entire face of the setting. It displays beautiful saturated blue coloration with natural dark matrix and subtle variations throughout the stone. Striking vintage sterling silver and turquoise bolo tie featuring an exceptionally large turquoise cabochon set in a classic handmade Southwestern silver setting. The turquoise is truly the centerpiece of this bolo, filling nearly the entire face of the setting. It displays beautiful saturated blue coloration with natural dark matrix and subtle variations throughout the stone. The irregular freeform shape has been framed with a twisted sterling rope border, allowing the turquoise itself to remain the focus. The reverse is stamped STERLING with a “J” maker’s mark beneath the sterling stamp. The exact silversmith has not been identified, so no specific artist attribution is being made. Complete with black braided leather cord, adjustable bolo slide and long silver-tone tips with decorative ends. Total weight is approximately 60 grams, including the cord and tips. This is a substantial vintage piece with an unusually large turquoise cabochon and wonderful presence when worn. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and patina. There is visible surface scratching/scuffing on the upper-left portion of the turquoise, shown clearly in the photographs. Additional minor surface wear may be present consistent with age and use.
