Excellent early automobile snapshot showing a woman seated behind the wheel of a large open touring car, photographed in a warm-climate setting with palm trees and period homes in the background. The automobile appears to date approximately to the 1910s to early 1920s , with an open touring body, folding fabric top, large wood-spoke wheels, prominent headlamps and early-style bodywork. The exact manufacturer and model have not been confirmed, so the car is intentionally listed without a speculative make attribution. The female driver is clearly visible at the wheel, making this an especially appealing image for collectors of early women motorists / women drivers , automobile history, transportation photography and vernacular snapshots.
