The term EPGS largely fell out of use in Britain around World War I, so pieces carrying it are generally pre-c. 1914. I guess that would be old enough to make this an antique Elegant antique silver-plated serving basket featuring an embossed grape, fruit, and leaf border with a decorative swing handle. Perfect for serving bread, rolls, fruit, pastries, or as an eye-catching centerpiece. The basket has a bright polished finish with an ornate fruit motif around the rim and decorative center medallion. The swing handle folds down for easy storage and serving. Some surface scratches and polishing marks consistent with use. I did clean the top surface but it could use some more cleaning, primarily on the underside and interior base (see photos).
