This Vintage Set of Chinese Famille Rose Canton Rooster 2 Salad Plates hand-painted by the renown Artistic Ceramic Factory (ACF) in Hong Kong, China during the 1950’s to 1970’s is in excellent condition with No surface marks, nicks, chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs.   The lovely porcelain plates measure 8 ¼” in diameter and feature intricate hand-painted overglaze enamel with a vibrant rooster design with 4 roosters (symbolizing prosperity, good fortune, & vigilance), song birds (symbolizing a harmonious, happy life), and butterflies (symbolizing a long life).   Please note the intricate and highly detailed work in the center and in the panels around the border.   The outer trim is red over a thin line of gold.   Being hand painted by the ACF studio artisans, there may be some slight variations from plate to plate.   Please carefully review all photos.   A beautiful set of salad / dessert sized plates with rich colors and detailed Chinese artistry – would make a wonderful addition to your collection or decorative display.   [26-0053] I have additional Chinese Famille Rose Canton pieces listed in my eBay Store, so please check.
