Beautiful vintage Hofbauer Byrdes Collection 24% lead crystal covered dish, made in West Germany. This charming collectible features Hofbauer’s signature bird theme throughout, including a three-dimensional crystal bird finial on the lid and a beautiful molded bird motif in the bowl. The crystal is heavily patterned with geometric/starburst detailing and has a decorative scalloped/sawtooth-style rim. The bowl rests on three decorative crystal feet, giving it an elegant raised appearance. Best of all, the piece retains its original Hofbauer/Bleikristall foil label, a wonderful detail for collectors.
