The items that you are buying were almost left behind for the landfill & The Clearwater historical society does little in my opinion to truly honor this man’s lifetime of work for this great city. George Fulmer was a Photographer for the city of Clearwater for over half a century. He was also a Navy enlisted photographer during WW2. After cleaning out the residence & studio in 2014, we had to sort through about 100,000 photographs & negatives to offer these items here. They were purchased on a contract separate from the building & copyright is not transferred We hope to bring some recognition to his life's work, as well as to find homes for some parts of the history of an entire city, as documented by the city photographer.
