Circa 1930s-1940s, this hand-wrought early Mexican silver and amethyst bracelet has a decidedly Art Deco influence, with bold geometric forms, sweeping fan-like engraving and six domed amethyst cabochons. It is a unique and unusual sculptural design, composed of overlapping, fully articulated panels, individually linked to allow the bracelet to curve beautifully around the wrist. Hand-incised radiating lines accent the sweeping wing-like forms, while polished silver domes and six amethyst cabochons complete the design. The bracelet is very dimensional, with the overlapping silver elements moving independently as it is worn.  Measures  over 8" when fully extended, with a wearable circumference of approximately 7 1/2" when measured on a bracelet sizer . Width is 2 1/16". Weight is a substantial 73 grams. Hallmarked  SILVER / MADE IN MEXICO .  In fine vintage condition. The original safety chain is attached. Condition: Pre-owned - Good.
