First I make a deep honeycomb implosion colored with a silver infused glass. I use many different layers of solid, translucent, and silver striking colors. This forms a thick rock like pattern which will be cut away and cold worked later. First I make a deep honeycomb implosion colored with a silver infused glass. Then the whole pendant is rolled in multiple layers of ground glass dust. I use many different layers of solid, translucent, and silver striking colors. This forms a thick rock like pattern which will be cut away and cold worked later. A lapidary flat lap is used to cut a flat facet into the front of the "geode" which reveals the hidden honeycomb inside! After I grind with 9 different diamond wheels, from 80-3000 grit, the final polish is done with cerium oxide to give a gem like cut.  --------- ---------- ----------- -Size: 2.9 inches tall. -This faceted pendant comes strung on a black cotton cord with adjustable slip knots so it can be worn long or short. -The back of this pendant is signed by me (BAM 2026) -Photos were taken with bright indoor led lights. -Made in Wisconsin. -All pendants have been annealed in a kiln to strengthen and remove all stress in the glass.
