The figures have a warm, traditional carved-wood appearance and display beautifully as a complete Christmas Nativity scene. They came from a well-kept estate and appear to have been carefully stored and preserved over the years. There are no visible maker’s marks or labels , and I have not been able to identify the carver or country of origin. Because of the quality and style of the carving, I believe the set is vintage, but I am making no claim as to a particular maker or age.
