The base is hand-signed in gold script with the classic authentic mark: "Raymor 947/A Italy". Vintage 1960s Italian art pottery ashtray, "Vetrata" (stained glass) pattern, designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi and imported by Raymor. True to its name this piece features a geometric, textured patchwork layout of vibrant fire orange, golden yellow, ochre, and deep brown volcanic glazes separated by heavy, dark stylized segment borders. The base is hand-signed in gold script with the classic authentic mark: "Raymor 947/A Italy". Good vintage display condition with bright, vibrant glazes. True to age and the fragile nature of 1960s Italian clay, please note the following imperfections: Light wear areas and a superficial scratch along the brown rim edge; Small chip at the underside of both corners (cigarette rests), cigarette holder and one tiny flea bite nick on rim. These are detailed for thoroughness and accuracy, but are considered “normal “ and expected due to both age and fragility of Italian clay. Price reflects flaws.
