This necklace was found among items that had been stored for many decades in the drawers of an antique treadle sewing machine. According to family history, the contents of the drawers had been there for at least 75 years. The necklace is made from numerous strands of very small clear-to-smoky glass seed beads, twisted together in a rope or torsade-style design. The beads vary slightly in tone, giving the necklace a soft clear, gray, and smoky appearance.
